She/Her
Since 2012, I have worked with individuals with eating disorders and addiction, which reflect other underlying issues and trauma. I assisted many clients replace self-destructive behaviors (eating disorders, self-harm, substance abuse, and other maladaptive coping skills) with acceptance and self-love. I have broadened my scope to work individuals struggling with anxiety and depression. I have found using CBT and mindfulness helps clients build their own tools to live a full and meaningful life.
I believe therapy can benefit everyone who sincerely wishes to see a change in his or her life. Appropriate therapy can relieve feelings of distress, increase satisfaction in interpersonal relationships, create skills for managing anxiety, and help grow greater personal awareness and insight. Difficult changes have no specific design, but with help, you can learn from them, grow with them, and be better because of them.
